The Clayton Antitrust Act outlaws any practice which is harmful to consumers such as monopolies and anti-competitive agreements. The act prohibits price discrimination between different purchasers where the effect may lessen competition or create of a monopoly in any line in commerce on account of a monopoly or unjust discrimination. . The Federal Trade Commision may fix and establsih quintiy limites as necessary. The Commision is to order termination unless the discrimination is justified. It is unlawful for anyone to receive or grant anything of value, a discount or compenstation with a sale or purchase except for the services connected with the sale. It is unlawful for payment of anything of value for services or facilties for processing or sale. It is unlawful for anyone to discriminate against another puchaser or purchaser of a commodity. The act prohibits discrimination in rebates, discounts, advertising service charges, underselling in specific locations and in penalties with the purpose to destroy competition. Any violation of this and one will be fined $5000 and imprisoned for about a year. This act does not apply to schools, colleges, universites public libraries, churches, hospitals and charitable institutions. Anyone who is injured while on the job has a right to an attorney and the court must consider many things such as whether or not one can receive interest. Those injured on the job will be protected by the State and government due to the fact that the attorney general of State will be given money. This act does not apply to labor unions and it prohibits any one person to own an entire stock, company, or share assests.
